Days 11-20 Henderson continues to roll, angry old Cleveland Indians Manny Ramirez and Albert Belle dominate slugging categories!

The Henderson Rickeys continue their torrid start with a 9-1 record over the last 10 games, and are at an '84 Tiger-like 17-3 record this season.  Manny Ramirez continues to pace the Rickeys offense, now at .311, 9 HRs, and 22 RBIs.

Albert Belle - Sun's Out , Guns Out
Andy Willnus's team took a step up this set, recording 7 wins vs 3 losses.  Another mercurial slugger is pacing this team  - Albert "Don't Call Me Joey" Belle!  The slugger once famed for chasing kids away from his house on Halloween is now leading this league with 10 HRs and has added 20 RBIs for good measure.  Andy has gotten excellent pitching from David Cone (2-0, 2.12 ERA with 15 K's in 17 innings) and Joey Hamilton (1-0, 1.20 ERA in 15 innings).

If you want to know just why those kids ran away from his house, here's a must-see clip of Albert Belle absolutely destroying little Fernando Vina (now of the Backwoods Bastards) on a routine double play ball...

The epic HR battle between Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa has not quite picked up steam yet due to slow starts by both sluggers.  McGwire has 6 taters and Sosa 5, but expect them to turn up those numbers soon!

On the other end of the spectrum, the Brooklyn Buttheads played like their name indicates, dropping all their games this set and currently stuck in a 10 game losing streak.  Verona Ridge also had a bad set, going 2-8.  Both teams are averaging almost exactly 1 HR a game, and in this era, that is not going to get it done.  Representatives from BALCO pharmaceuticals are visiting both teams.

Day 11  Las Vegas gets 2 HRs and 5 RBIs from Kevin Young, Henderson's Pete Harnisch moves to 3-0 after blanking the Bastards over 8 innings, Roger Clemens tosses 4 hit shutout, and Pedro Martinez K's a dozen batters

Day 12  Fernando Vina shakes off his pain from Albert Belle and gets three hits for the Bastards, the Big Unit K's 10 and gets the win for the Frosted Tips, it's Lima Time for Jimmy, and Ken Griffey Jr. goes wild with 3 HRs, 4 hits, 3 runs, and 6 RBIs!!!!

Day 13  Scott Rolen gets a 9th inning grand slam to propel John Wisely over the Bastards, Vlad Guerrero cracks 2 HRs for the Juicers, and Joey Hamilton blanks Andy Willnus.

Day 14  Verona Ridge trips up Fort Wayne, Hideo Nomo and John Johnstone combine for a shutout for Backwoods, David Cone with a 3 hitter for Andy, and Denny Neagle providing Goombie with 9 strong innings as they take down the Fremonts.

Day 15  Vegas starter Kenny Rogers blanks Midland, Brian Jordan goes 4-6, Juan Gonzalez goes 4-5 with 3 RBIs

Day 16  Greg Vaughn's 2 HRs help John Wisely get the win over the Juicers (as did an 8 run 5th inning), Barry Larkin's 5 RBIs lead Bill Marx's club, Edgar Martinez cracks the go-ahead HR for Andy.

Day 17  Sammy Sosa's HR puts the Juicers over the top, Bill Marx gets an extra-inning, walk-off single from Andy Fox, and Andy gets the same from Mike Bordick in his game.  David Wells gets Jimmy with it and blanks the Bastards on just 3 hits, and Henderson's Manny Ramirez clouts 3 HRs.

Day 18  NO-MAH!!!  Nomar Garciaparra (boy, I've missed typing that long name!) had 3 hits, 4 runs, and 3 RBIs.  Randy Johnson frosted Bill Marx by whiffing 13 of his batters, and Fort Wayne's mighty offense knocked new Hall of Famer Tom Glavine out before he could even finish one inning.

Day 19  Big day for Bret Boone, with 4 hits and 5 RBIs, David Cone throws 8 innings of shutout ball at the Buttheads, and Jeromy Burnitz connects for 4 hits.

Day 20  More Lima Time!  He goes all 9 innings for Jimmy and gets his second win.  Pedro Martinez goes to 3-2  after striking out 11 Roadrunners and only allowing one run.  Kerry Wood shines for the Juicers as they defeat arch-rival Fort Wayne 5-2.
