Days 21-30 Close races starting to emerge!

After 30 days, we have a logjam in the East, with each team within 2.5 games of each other.  Henderson has cooled off a bit this block, and Bill Marx has ridden a hot streak to get up to 16-11.  PED-Co is riding high with their steroid infested lineup right now, but only 4.5 games separate them from all of their competition.

Ken Griffey's 'medicine' helped him this block!
Some highs and lows from this block.  Vlad Guerrero has the most HR's over the last 10 days with 8, but Ken Griffey is right behind with 7, and Mark McGwire has hit 5 lately.   Griffey wins the coveted 'Player Of The Block" with a .432 average, 7 HRs, and 12 RBIs.  The Big Hurt is hitting .458 this block for Verona.  On the flip side, Robin Ventura is a shocking O for 26 streak.    Mike Mussina has been roughed up lately, giving up 16 runs and 22 hits in 12 innings.

Today's historic video is the full Robin Ventura - Nolan Ryan brawl.  Lesson as always - don't mess with Texas!  This kind of beating will put you in an 0 for 26 funk.
